Plastic-free alternatives to reduce plastic pollution

We use cotton swabs every day and rarely think about the impact on our environment. Such a small product can't be a problem, can it?

Wrong, because an estimated 500 billion cotton swabs are used every year and thrown away after just a few seconds. They are also part of the global pollution problem caused by single-use plastic. In fact, cotton swabs are among the eight most common plastic items found on beaches.

The packaging of conventional cotton swabs is usually also made of plastic. With the pandoo cotton swabs you have a 100% plastic-free alternative for your bathroom.

Bamboo instead of paper cotton swabs

Another alternative to plastic cotton buds is the paper version, which is made from wood and paper glue.

However, making disposable products that are only used for a few seconds from valuable wood is not an optimal solution. The pandoo bamboo cotton buds are a better alternative as they are made from fast-growing resources.

Our mission at pandoo is to reduce pollution and deforestation. Wherever possible, we try to avoid disposable products entirely.
