After Kami and Mika rescue the pink chameleon Konrad, they immediately find a new task in Cloud Haven: they help Princess Gunther prepare for the annual princess election and are even allowed to participate in the celebrations at the Cheese Castle. However, before the coronation takes place, the siblings are caught by a magical whirlpool and end up in the desert land of Troconia. There, they meet inventor's daughter Lexi, who takes them to the dilapidated, childless city. In search of fuel for a flying device from Lexi's father's workshop, the three not only discover a long-lost relative of their friend Isabella but also the reason why all the children - except for Lexi - have disappeared from Troconia. Will Kami and Mika manage to return to Wolkenhain?

Darn! When Mika secretly helps herself to the buffet during the princess election, she has a huge mishap: Mika says the forbidden word before she bites into a Bombast fruit. Of course, this does not go without consequences. Suddenly, a magical whirlwind appears, carrying the twins away and transporting them to a wondrous wilderness.Where have Kami and Mika ended up? And more importantly: How do they get back?

Fantasy stories full of diversity, courage, and friendship

For reading aloud and first independent reading from 6 years

WE LOVE IT BECAUSE: DIVERSE/INCLUSIVE

While the first volume focused, among other things, on people with disabilities and physical self-determination, the second part tells the story of a rainbow family with two fathers and emphasizes empathy and understanding. Kami and Mika often disagree and sometimes get annoyed with each other's ways. However, throughout the story, they come to understand each other better and even take on the role of siblings when the brave Mika is sometimes scared and the cautious Kami suddenly acts impulsively. In another context, it is about approaching others without prejudice and not judging them hastily. Thus, the story not only offers many exciting, humorous, and touching moments but also conveys important and empowering messages.
