Marisa Taylor lives with her husband and two daughters in London, United Kingdom.They are a mixed family of Jamaicans, Canadians, and Germans. Since becoming a mother, Marisa has noticed how difficult it is to find books that represent children from all parts of the world, and that is why she has made it her mission to change this. It was important to her to contribute to children learning from a young age that self-love and diversity are beautiful. This led to the creation of her first book "Happy within," which has been translated into over 15 different languages. The idea behind the bilingual books is to create diverse resources that encourage children to learn a second language while celebrating multiculturalism.
Her passion lies in learning and teaching languages, as this is a key element in connecting with people from other cultures. Your wish is to inspire and motivate parents and children of all nationalities and backgrounds to love themselves as they are and to be happy within themselves.
Marisa speaks German and Spanish with her children and wanted to create a bilingual series of her book "happy within" to help her children improve their language skills and to assist other families in learning an additional language together.
